The struggle to contain the COVID-19 pandemic is an all hands on deck effort. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are agreed, the key to stopping the spread is to identify who has the disease through testing and social distancing to minimize the spread.

The number of deaths as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic has been unimaginable but the loss of life as a result of the disease has been staggering in the African American community. The disproportionate death rates in the African American community due to COVID-19 are attributed to a  greater prevalence of underlying medical conditions such as diabetes hypertension, obesity and asthma. We are fully committed to fighting historic healthcare disparity by educating the public most affected and joining with others to bring about health equity in the U.S.. Help us spread the word. Sharing factual information from reliable sources is key to containing the spread.  #EquityFlattensTheCurve, #HealthEquity, #COVID19
